The Challenge
Keeping eyes on the slice of pie
Centered in Nashville, crossed by train tracks and freeways, is a triangular shape plot of land, set to be a multifamily housing development. This “slice of pie” as it’d be known, was less than a mile from the Nashville Convention Center, a growing pocket of trendy new developments.
Avenue Construction, a full service general contractor, partnered with CA South Developments to create a space for residents and retailers. They needed a way to keep teams informed, secure the site after-hours and monitor their “slice of the pie.”
The Solution
Remote controlled video webcameras
Avenue Construction utilized OxBlue’s Sapphire pan-tilt-zoom camera. The live video features and ability to control angles remotely on any device was important for the remote teams outside of Nashville involved in the project. Since OxBlue offers unlimited users, Avenue was able to share access with their clients, remote architects and bank inspectors.
