OxBlue, a leader in construction camera solutions, announced the release of Sapphire MultiCam, a purpose-built system designed to deliver fully-enhanced jobsite security.
The Sapphire MultiCam solution combines up to three wide-angle infrared cameras on one control unit, giving construction professionals dynamic coverage across vulnerable areas such as low-lit perimeters, public access points, and equipment laydown yards. With live streaming, automatic recording and professional monitoring, Sapphire MultiCam provides a cost-effective way to deter threats.
“Sapphire MultiCam was designed to meet the needs of today’s construction teams – delivering real-time deterrence and tamper-proof documentation in one solution. It’s a smart, more adaptable approach to jobsite protection that directly supports common insurance requirements,” said Chandler McCormack, CEO of OxBlue.
Equipped with built-in strobe lights, sirens and talk-down audio, the Sapphire MultiCam system deters threats in real-time while sending motion-triggered alerts and supporting direct police response. The system is backed by 5-Diamond, TMA and UL-Certified professional monitoring agents, ensuring that alerts are thoroughly reviewed in real-time.
Beyond security, Sapphire MultiCam also delivers visibility features for progress monitoring. Unlimited time-lapses, weather tracking and single-camera image archiving of jobsite activity helps empower superintendents, executives and stakeholders with the clarity to make faster, better-informed decisions. All of it is accessible on any device through a web-app that displays multiple projects across a single dashboard.
“Security has always been a top priority for our clients, and Sapphire MultiCam represents the next step in OxBlue’s history of innovation,” said Rich George, Chief Operations Officer of OxBlue. “By combining multiple cameras on one unit with our industry-leading services, we’re delivering a system that protects assets and pushes the standard for how construction security should work.”
Sapphire security systems aren’t one-size-fits-all. Clients can still deploy standalone Sapphire Camera Systems with optional security accessories and monitoring. For broader coverage, Sapphire MultiCam allows multiple infrared cameras to be mounted on one control unit. Both options can be combined to meet the needs of any jobsite.
