ATLANTA, November 19, 2015 – OxBlue construction cameras and time-lapse videos are used by construction professionals around the world to improve efficiency, project management, and communication on projects in every sector of construction – from residential and retail to sports and healthcare facilities. Occasionally the construction webcam provider’s services and tools are put to work on a different kind of job site, like the 17th Annual Canstruction® Atlanta.
Canstruction is a charitable organization that brings together professionals from the design, engineering, and construction industries in support of hunger relief and awareness. At annual events held in more than 150 cities worldwide, participants volunteer their talents, putting them to work building huge, complex structures made out of canned food. The works are judged in different categories, such as Best Use of Labels and Structural Ingenuity.
This year’s Canstruction Atlanta build-out kicked off on November 5 at the Colony Square Mall in Atlanta’s Midtown and donated OxBlue construction cameras were there documenting the event. High-definition time-lapse videos of teams building their structures can be seen here.
Every OxBlue construction camera system comes with all hardware, cellular data connection, easy-to-use tools, and three kinds of time-lapse movie capabilities.
After the day-long design-build event and judging, the completed structures were showcased in a public exhibition, from November 6 to 15, and winning entries were celebrated at a November 13 Awards Gala. All the food and proceeds from the 17th Annual Canstruction Atlanta event are donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Since its founding in 1992, Canstruction has provided well over 25 million pounds of food worldwide. To learn more about Canstruction, visit www.canstruction.org.
